Strong food and super friendly service including the boss who is there for the guests.

Overall, a nice restaurant with friendly service and a nice ambience. On the walls there are framed posters from the godfather :-) The prices for pizza are a bit higher, but still OK for Sylt, as the pizza really tastes very good. We have been there for pizza several times and were always satisfied.

Good prices, good portions (pizza could have been a little crispier), good boss (waiter), very nice and funny with children ... ;-)

Delicious pizza and good casual service, we'd love to come back.

Unfortunately, despite reservation, we didn't have a seat at first, drink requests were not fully served and the antipasti plate was clearly too expensive for the contents. Pizzas were delicious and in the usual price range.

The restaurant "Der Pate" is actually a pizzeria where you cannot pre-order a pizza to pick up. Instead, you should come by, order the pizza on site and expect a "reasonable waiting time". In times of Corona, a not entirely optimal strategy. Some restaurateurs really didn't get it.

We had an unforgettable evening. Eaten and drunk superbly. Staff is attentive and friendly. This is where the palate comes in.

Super delicious food, courteous staff and a personable owner. The prices are also reasonable & fair for Sylt standards. We'll be happy to come back here on our next trip to Sylt.

Pizzas were terrific. Very good quality and very tasty. When recommending a wine, you should also ask about the price. Sylt is known, but asking for € 13 for a 0.2l glass for a € 90 Indio Montepulciano from the 6l magnum bottle is excessive. Service staff are very attentive and put you in a good mood, but the restaurant would be better off if the service staff didn't have to be helpless when asked about food and drinks. Definitely worth a visit. I'm not a Michelin critic 😉👍

The most rude place in all of Sylt. And it's not easy to find rude people among the locals on the island. For heaven's sake, pizza isn't bad either, but it doesn't deserve customers. Really bewildered by the brash of the room, with Italian flat cap, rude, rude and all agitated. Among other things, he was not even Italian (let's forget the fact that as an Italian I like to go and eat in Italian places ... and then you find this nice welcome) ... he acted as if he were a Malanova and I was wrong 2 times the orders for his arrogance. He also tells me that "I made him crazy" (there were 2 daisies, one of which with the addition of aubergines ... I would have had to really work to make an order like that wrong several times ... well). Leaving aside the fact that when I asked if they made smaller pizzas for the girl, she even laughed in my face. Never again.

We visited this restaurant today to end my wife's birthday. From the reservation by phone the day before to leaving the restaurant tonight, everything went perfectly. A very nice and friendly young woman and the boss personally work in the service and despite the stress at dinner time, have a friendly word, a smile and a recommendation for every guest. Service that comes from the heart and is not fake, that's how it should be. We were invited to a birthday aperitif and thought it was extremely nice. Starter + main course were very good and of extraordinary quality. The dishes were very well presented and tasted excellent. And now the hammer of the evening: When we left the restaurant through the corona-related back exit, we passed the kitchen. The kitchen staff wished us a nice evening and thanked us for our visit. Here friendliness is lived by all employees. We can highly recommend this restaurant.

Great service and reasonable prices for Sylt. The ambience was very nice. Our pizzas were delicious. The tiramisu and the creme brülee were delicious and well presented. The only negative point: the knives could be a bit sharper. Conclusion: Recommended

Very nice pizzeria, super friendly staff! We were already here 2 years ago and now came back for the good times. This time we didn’t like a dish we had ordered, a replacement was brought in very quickly! We are still in a very positive mood and are already looking forward to the next visit :)

Never again! We waited two and a half hours for our food. By the time it was there, the edge of the pizza was completely charred and used to Part simply cut. A pure cheek, if you still dare to go there, you should perhaps keep a snack in the back of your mind as a substitute. Just mangy
